Primary Three pupils enjoyed a fun and informative day at the Palace Stables in Armagh. In celebration of the upcoming National Apple Day (21st October), the children explored the fascinating history of Armagh apples, learning why the county is proudly known as "The Orchard County."
They discovered that Armagh produces more apples than any other region in Ireland and is renowned for having some of the tastiest apples in the world. The visit helped the children appreciate the cultural and agricultural significance of apples in their local area and beyond.
The trip was apple-solutely amazing!
