On Monday, a group of P6 children travelled to Belfast to take part in an American Flag Football event hosted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The children were thrilled to experience a new sport and the event was made even more special by the presence of the Steelers’ Vice President of Business Management, Daniel Rooney and former NFL player Will Allen. Our pupils represented the school brilliantly, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm, making it through to the semi?finals. They had a fantastic day from start to finish and even managed an appearance on BBC news!
