P5 WAU Trip to Navan Fort

Today, March 22nd, the primary five pupils travelled to Navan Fort to study "Life in Early Times". They had to arrange in chronological order a timeline for this period and got the opportunity to be an archaeologist. They then created Celtic shields which they were able to bring home. Finally, they were able to experience what life was really like for these people when they entered a typical "roundhouse" and sat by the fire listening to a young Celt, who described how he and his family lived during this era. It was an enjoyable and informative trip for all concerned!
