Primary Four make their First Holy Communion

Congratulations to all the boys and girls in primary four who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday 9^th May in St. Jarlath’s Church, Blackwatertown. Many thanks to Father Connolly who celebrated Mass and their teachers Mrs. Vallely and Mrs. Mc Mc Mahon who prepared them for this special day.

A word of thanks of thanks is also due to Mrs. Rafferty and Mrs. Cranney, our classroom assistants, who also ensured that the children were ready for this important milestone in their lives.

Refreshments were served afterwards in the school’s canteen, which were very welcome. Many thanks to the parents of the primary three pupils helping out on the day and giving up their own free time to do so.
