P4 Celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Yesterday, 7th March, the boys and girls in primary 4 celebrated the Sacrament of Penance in St. Jarlath's Church, Blackwatertown. They brought alive the story of Zacchaeus through song and mime. Father Connolly and Father Hughes invited each child to confess their sins after which they returned to their parents for a "big hug" to celebrate! All the children should be very proud of themselves as they behaved and performed impeccably. Well done! This morning at assembly they were presented with a certificate to mark this special occasion.
