As part of our World Around Us topic on minibeasts, the children have been bringing in materials to help build our new Bug Hotel. They loved gathering sticks, pinecones, bark and bamboo to create a cosy space for insects to enjoy.
We are also keeping a close eye on our ladybirds, who are still in their pupa stage. Once they emerge, we will release them into their safe and snug new home…the Bug Hotel!
