Keeping our school community connected...….task 3

Boys and girls this week's activity is in response to request from parents for children to keep in touch.  I would like you to send me a drawing of  you and your friends doing the things you like to do together in school and maybe even writing a few sentences or a poem  about the picture.  I will put these up on the website and you can all see each other's pictures and know that you are all being missed.

Maybe you could write an acrostic poem using your friend's name or the word friends like this?

Friends make me happy                                           or                            Conor is my friend

Running around the school yard                                                              On my side all the time

In and out of spaces                                                                               Never says no when I need help

Everyone hates to hear the bell ring                                                         On the bus we sit together

No-one wants to stop playing                                                                   Really missing my friend at school

Dancing, running, singing, football

So many good memories
