Confirmation Retreat

As the Primary 7 class are  preparing for their confirmation, we at St Jarlath’s felt it was of the utmost importance that each child gets a chance to reflect upon their forthcoming sacrament. 

On Thursday the 19^th of March our P7s attended a Faith Development Retreat, held in the parish hall, delivered by the Armagh Diocesan Youth Commission (ADYC).

The retreat gave the children a day out of the classroom to focus on their sacramental preparation, using interactive fun techniques to explore faith through mediums such as dance and drama. It also explored wider social issues and addressed some of the challenges children today are facing.

The retreat was delivered to pupils from St John's PS, Moy as well as part of our schools' partnership work.
