Budding Artists in Primary 5!!!

As part of the Primary 5 Art topic the children observed a variety of fruits.  They dissected them and discussed pattern and colours, smells and tastes! 

Then the children made pencil sketches, watercolour studies and pastel studies, based on the works of art, of various well known artists. 

The results were absolutely amazing!  Some pieces look like they they have been done by children much older than 8-9 years!!!
