Today, our Primary 2 class had the pleasure of welcoming two very special visitors- baby Connlá and his mum, Eimear. As part of our May and June World Around Us topic on Lifecycles, the children have been exploring the stages of the human lifecycle.
The children discussed how to care for a baby, what babies need to thrive and how they communicate their needs. To make the experience even more fun, we played a guessing game called ‘What’s in the Bag?’ and even tried our best to make Connlá laugh.
It was lovely to see how many experienced big brothers and sisters we have in our class. A big thank you to Eimear and Connlá for coming in today to help bring our learning to life.
