Autism Awareness Week
5th Apr 2019
To coincide with Autism Awareness Week, the Autism Advisory and Intervention Service visited our school this morning to present a puppet show for Key Stage 1 and a powerpoint and discussion session for Key Stage 2. They aimed to highlight those people in society who may be in some way autistic and how to relate to, and help them. The pupils discovered that many famous people throughout history have been autistic and that autism is not an illness! The Key Stage 1 pupils thoroughly enjoyed the puppet show!
