Armagh Planetarium Trip for P2
2nd Apr 2026
Primary 2 have been exploring space as part of their world around us topic. Yesterday, they set off on an exciting trip to the Planetarium to learn all about space and the wonders of the universe. The children thoroughly enjoyed a range of hands-on learning experiences, from watching a movie in the dome, to designing, building and launching their own rockets. They also loved exploring the space-themed sensory room, which brought their learning to life.
To top off an unforgettable day, the children even featured on UTV and BBC News as they prepared for The Artemis ll mission launch from Nasa last night. It truly was a fantastic way to end an amazing learning experience.
