Active Superhero Sustrans Presentation

On Friday 4^th March our Sustrans Representative Dave Wiggans came to our school to present certificates to all of the pupils who successfully completed ten active travel journeys to school between the 22^nd February and 4^th March. All pupils who successfully completed the active travel journeys were entered into a draw to win a copy of the book “The boy who cycled the World”.

The student council also organised a superhero story writing competition for the P4-7 pupils and a superhero drawing competition for P1-3 pupils. One winner was selected from each class receiving a football as their prize.

We had a great response to our second Sustrans event and hope to have a successful third event after Easter, working towards our Bronze Sustrans Award.
