Primary 4 WW2 Trip to Palace Stables
18th Jan 2018
Primary 4 have been learning about World War 2 this term and today we visited Palace Stables to learn more. Each pupil created their own Identity Card in preparation for evacuation. We also visited an air-raid shelter and explored the role of an Evacuation Officer. We met an American 'G.I.' based in Armagh and we learnt about what life was like at home and how people had to buy food and clothes using ration cards. A fantastic day for all!
