EA bus information: please read before using the school bus

                                   EA Bus update and procedures, 20th August 2020

  • Parents, children and young people are strongly encouraged to consider alternatives to using school buses.

 

  • It is also strongly recommended that all pupils, regardless of age, should wear a face covering on all buses for the journey to school where it is appropriate for them to do so and they are able to handle them as directed.

  • Face masks should be removed when disembarking from bus. Disposable masks should be placed in a covered bin and reusable ones placed in a zip lock bag. A different mask should be used on the return journey.

 

  • Siblings MUST sit together

 

  • Pupils with no siblings can sit beside someone in their class bubble

 

  • All pupils must maintain as much social distancing as possible.

 

  • Pupils ignoring the rules may be refused travel.

 

  • School bus will be operational from Monday 24th August at the normal times for pupils who are ENTITLED to travel on it.

 

  • Pupils in from 9am to 12 noon will not be able to use the bus week of 24th August.

 

Pupils with any coronavirus symptoms should not come to school.

This includes pupils with ANY respiratory symptoms.
